I'm a 47-year-old writer and electrician from Northeast Tennessee. My journey has been anything but ordinary - shaped by the challenges of schizophrenia and a long history of substance abuse. For years, I struggled in silence, battling inner storms that often felt too heavy to carry. But through it all, I found a way to transform pain into purpose.
Today, I share my life through poetry and short fiction. Honest, raw, and deeply personal reflections of the world as I've lived it. My work explores themes of mental illness, addiction, love, loss and redemption. Writing has become both therapy and expression, helping me make sense of a chaotic past and find peace in the present.
I'm also a working electrician, grounded in the reality of day-to-day life. That duality, creative and practical, wounded and healing, defines much of who I am. My hope is that my words resonate with others who've walked through darkness, and offer a reminder that it's possible to find light, even in the most unlikely places. Thank you for being here. I'm glad our paths have crossed.
