The man sits still at last, hands unclenched, as if he has been holding the reins of a horse that was never his.
He watches a leaf turn slowly in the current of the river, it's journey neither hurried nor delayed, yet never without purpose.
Something loosens in his chest. The weight of blueprints and maps, the endless Scaffolding in his mind, all dissolved into the sound of water lapping the stones at his feet.
He does not need to carve the river, or tell the wind it's work. The sky has no plans and still it holds the sun.
Joy arrives not as a destination, but as the taste of breath entering and leaving. As the warmth of light on his open palm.
For the first time, he is not chasing. He is simply here - and it is enough.

How Can It Be………….
I woke up and nothing was wrong.
No shame waiting beside the bed.
No memory crawling over my chest.
No name I couldn’t say out loud.
Just the light coming through the blinds and the sound of
the world continuing without me needing to catch up.
I didn’t check the clock.
I didn’t brace myself.
I didn’t rehearse things i’d have to explain.
I sat still for a while. Let the air touch my skin.
Let the room be a room. Let the past stay quiet.
There was coffee. There was warmth.
There was no weight on my heart.
Even the silence felt clean - not hollow, not threatening.
I looked around and didn’t see anything I needed to escape.
My breath stayed steady.
My hands didn’t shake.
And for once…….the day ahead didn’t feel like a question
I couldn’t answer.
I didn’t ask why. I just lived it.
For most of his life, Julian was trapped inside a mind he couldn't trust--haunted by schizophrenia--numbed by institutions, dulled by prescription bottles, and driven by a desperate need to feel whole. From back-alley deals to solitary meditation, from the madness of infidelity to fleeting glimpses of peace, his journey winds through a chaos that few could survive. Now in his third and most fragile relationship, Julian is determined to build something real with Sarah. But when a dark chapter from his past resurfaces--beginning with a stolen car and ending with a body in the woods--his grip on sanity is tested once more. Violating probation, surviving a vicious assault, and finding guidance in the most unexpected of mentors, Julian stumbles toward a profound inner awakening. One man's path to enlightenment becomes a breathtaking story of redemption, loyalty, and the human spirit's unrelenting fight to heal.
